The Royal Kandiyan's prime location was a highlight for me, as it provided easy access to Kandy Lake and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth. The spacious rooms were well-maintained, but my enjoyment was somewhat dampened by a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. While the dining options were diverse and the Sri Lankan dance show was entertaining, some issues with bathroom facilities and customer service were disappointing.
